O.K. Here we go again. It's Summertime in Camden, Maine, the fog has rolled in and it's time to lift your spirits and go and see the Everyman Repertory Theatre's revival of "The 39 Steps". If you haven't seen it you are in for a treat. If you saw it in the Fall be prepared for a new and greatly improved show. Improved? I hear you cry it can't be improved on. O.K. different then. We are rehearsing away creating different gags, reworking sections that need to be tighter, more wigs and crazier costumes and even the designers (lighting, sound and set) are reworking their magic. That is the wonderful thing about a revival. It is another opportunity to recreate a piece of work. Keep what worked and improve on what didn't.
This is a great family show. It's great for anyone who needs a good laugh. In fact, everyone, just about now. So, make sure to book your tickets, bring your friends and family, escape the fog and pack out that Camden Opera House July 22nd and 23rd and July 29th and 30th We are also performing at The Fryeburg Performing Art Center in Fryeburg, Maine Aug. 5th and 6th.
