Hanna grew up in Camden and attended Camden-Rockport schools. She is a graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem and of the University of Maine in Orono. She holds a BA in German and traveled abroad for two years before relocating to New York City to pursue a career in dance and theatre. She has studied ballet, modern, African and Afro-Caribbean dance with an extensive list of teachers over the years.  She has performed her own pieces as well as the works of choreographers Jane Comfort, Brian Simon and Joseph Ritsch among others. Most recently she has choreographed “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” for CRHS and “Five Course Love” for the Northport Music Theatre andplayed June inthe Everyman Repertory Theatre’s production of “The Man Who Came to Dinner.”  Hanna lives in Rockland with her husband David where she is the co-owner of Synergy Massage and Bodywork.
