Rockport — Kudos, first of all, to the Everyman Repertory Theatre for its brave choice of the classic, yet seldom-seen "The Man Who Came to Dinner," being presented for one more weekend at the Rockport Opera House. Brave because of the obvious challenge in presenting a play written in 1939 and packed with historical references in a way that stays true to the original style while still engaging contemporary audiences.

"There are still three more chances to see “Private Lives,” Noël Coward’s most scintillating comedy, in a delightful production by Everyman Repertory Theatre, a thoroughly professional young company."

The new Everyman Repertory Theatre has mounted the premiere production of two one-act plays by Camden’s Robert Manns. The production opened last weekend in the parish hall of St. Thomas Episcopal Church and will conclude this weekend in the auditorium of Rockland’s Farnsworth Art Museum.
