1000 Words: Four Short Plays on the Theme of Photography


The Everyman Repertory Theatre presents four short plays on the theme of photography, on August 17, 18, 23, and 24, starting at 8 pm. They will be performed at CMCA within the setting of MENTOR: 40 Photographers/40 Years, an exhibition honoring the spirit of collaboration between master artists and their students fostered by Maine Media Workshops & College.
The plays are:

    Point and Shoot by Michael John Garcés, directed by Mim Bird
    Overexposed by Michael John Garcés, directed by Mim Bird
    For Art by Nastaran Ahmadi, directed by David Troup
    Please Send Pic by Sharyn Rothstein, directed David Troup

These plays, all written in the last ten years, explore relationships with humor and conflict, using the common theme of photography in domestic, professional, and public settings.
